Kratos angles his blades to target enemies above and below him, and has a tethered grab, allowing him to tether to an enemy and continue attacking, then using the enemy as a weapon when enemies grow too close for kratos, it also allows kratos to be able to grab enemies farther away and in the air, or even target aerial/grounded targets while on the floor/in the air, making him far more of powerhouse who can control the flow of battle. However, just using the Blades of Chaos has never felt better.

I would put it second behind God of war 3, as this game lacks the weapon variety and utility seen in God of war 3 and (2018).

It has some of the best combat this series has to offer. This game mechanically was incredibly sound. The story was worse than the others, but it was nice to see Kratos human side, as he actively puts in effort to keep strangers alive in this game.
